The Toman community forms part of the Ga West municipal Assembly. The Anglican Basic School is the second school we visited in our attempt to curb examination malpractices and to reassure the pupils of God’slove and intensions for them as they prepare to write their final examination come 13th of June 2016.
The total number of the final year students were 57 and we were privilege to fellowship with 41 of the them. We presented examinational tool kit to all those who participated in the meeting. At the end of our encounter, the pupils testified that we are the first Christian organization that has visited their school to show our love to them in this way. The class teacher was very happy for the kind gesture and he prayed for Harvest ministry.
The Anglican Church established the school, which later became a public schoolin the late 80’s and ithas a population of about 548 pupils. Most of the people in the community are low-income earners and the only affordable school is the Anglican Basic School. My fervent prayer is that the good Lord Jesus Christ will crown their effort with success in order for the community to have a brighter future. The children are our hope for tomorrow.
